How does Velashape™ work?
The unique combination of bipolar radiofequency (RF), infrared light energy, plus vacuum and mechanical massage results in a noticeable reduction in circumference and in the appearance of cellulite. What areas may be treated?
With Velashape™, you can be treated for Circumferential Reduction on the thighs and abdomen * and Cellulite Treatment on the thighs, buttocks, love handles and abdomen. (*FDA clearance for circumference reduction of the thighs)
How quickly will I notice a change?
A gradual improvement of the treated area will be seen over the course of 4 to 6 treatments scheduled one week apart. The degree of response to the Velashape™ treatment and the number of sessions required may vary. Results in Circumference and Cellulite Reduction will be most apparent 6-8 weeks following the final treatment session.
How many inches can I reduce?
In a multi-center study, 85% of the patients treated reported a circumferential reduction of the thighs of at least 1 cm (almost ½ inch), ranging up to 7.2 cms (3 inches) in reduction.
How do I improve and maintain Velashape™ results?
Following your complete treatment regimen, it is recommended to get maintenance treatments periodically. Like all non-surgical or surgical techniques, results will last longer if you follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
Is the treatment safe?
The FDA cleared the device as safe and effective for all skin types and colors.
Does the treatment hurt?
Most patients describe the treatment as a warm deep massage. The settings are adjusted to each patient’s comfort level.
